Hugo Mellbris

Hello there!

My name is Hugo Mellbris and I am a UX designer, living in Stockholm, currently working at Revam.

I have always had an aesthetic interest, both in form and image as well as film and music. During junior high school, I became interested in graphic design when I did an internship at an advertising agency in my hometown Visby. My supervisor let me influence graphics that actually ended up in print. Those two weeks became the entrance to a new type of thinking.

After high school, I started working in the restaurant industry and continued doing so for 12 years. During this time I never let go of the idea of ​​design itself, it was somewhere in my subconscious I guess.

I slowly but surely began to think along the lines of how to develop and streamline different types of services and platforms but didn't have a direct label for it. By chance, an acquaintance told me about UX design and recommended I look up the concept. And here I am now - a graduate UX designer!

I find a great commitment to sustainability, whether it concerns the environment or digital services and everything in between. I strongly believe in designing sustainably as soon as possible, both for services, people, and the world.

My other interests mainly revolve around e-sports, training, and football. When I'm not sitting in front of the computer or lifting weights at the gym, I enjoy traveling the world and discovering new places. In the future, I would like to work in the gaming industry or with environmental projects.
